STREET DOG SHELTER (SDS)
SDS is a non Governmental organisation from India which concentrates mainly on rescuing and creating shelters for street dogs all over India, Which is functioning trough Crowd funding campaigns and donations from dog lovers To know more about us visit us on @StreetDogShelter
Why this fundraiser?
As we had already mentioned SDS is a non-profit organisation whose functionalities depends on the donations from various dog lovers and organisations, but direct donations will have their limitations because It will not be reliable sometimes much,sometimes enough,and sometimes there will be nothing .while running a non-profit there will be no time to long for donations certainly in the case of animal rescues we will face our daily challenges of rescuing dogs from really unsustainable situations so that we are depending on the crowd funding platforms for our essential needs well coming to the point the cause of this fundraiser is "To full fill the basic needs of SDS" Such us a Domain name and a dynamic website for SDS ,A own dog rescue van and an vet nary ambulance,Salary for staffs.
OUR NEEDS
1.A domain name and a Dynamic Website For SDS
For a non profit it's must to own a domain name and to maintain a Dynamic Website because website's will be our representatives to reach people of modern world and also it will be the mediator to spread the word so We need some funds to create our Own website
Expenses- Domain name-50$,web designing and creation-500$,hosting charges per month-20$
Totally-600$
2. A Dog rescue van And an vet-nary Ambulance (in own)
We need a own Dog rescue van to reach the spot in time after a call of rescue and also to carry dogs from one place to another (currently using hired vehicles). also a Vet-nary ambulance with equipment s is needed For Emergency cases
Expenses- Dog rescue Van (which can carry up-to 15 dogs )-6000$, Fully equipped Vet-nary Ambulance - 9000$
Totally-15000$
3.Salary for our staff
currently there are 14 members working in SDS among them 6 people are from our side (founders) we don't want and salary for our service but the other staff like sweepers,care takers,scavengers etc should be given with proper salary
Expenses- Sweeper salary - 600$ per month (as per Indian norms) Scavenger salary -650$ per month (as per Indian norms) care taker salary- 1100$ per month (as per Indian norms) technician salary- 1000$per month (as per Indian norms)
sweepers=3=3*600= 1800$
Scavengers=2=2*650$=1300$
care takers=3=3*1100= 3300$
Technician =1=1*1000= 1000$
Totally-7400$
Total Expenses =15000+7400=22400$
So dear friends please help us in reaching our goal soon we have to provide salary for our workers soon and also the dog rescue van is important even a single dollar can help donate a little amount from your daily expenses please don't hesitate to donate if the amount is small because every penny counts also there will be people who can't donate but it's okay but please don't forget to share because others may be willing to share please spread our word to your friends and family and help us to reach our goal
