Betty Beaumont has asked me to put this on for her.....

Sad News. My Benny, Ch. Barmoll Beaujolais At Teisenlap was put to sleep last week at the age of nearly 14 years. He was, to me, a dog in a million, my constant companion and is missed very much.

He was such a special dog and I had great times with him at home, in the show ring and at the races. Apart from his success in the ring, he was well known on the racing circuit as a trials dog for youngsters just starting their schooling. One memorable weekend was that after winning his class at Crufts, he raced the next day at the South Cotswolds. He is missed so much.

Sorry to hear you news Betty. He was a lovely dog. I can vouch for how bomb proof he was as a trials dog. I can remember trialling one of our pups with him - you always new he was safe to run with them. RIP Benny.

Judy can you please let Betty know that I'm so sorry for her. Ben was a lovely dog. I saw so many of his puppies in the ring and for me their quality stood out. I had had a fancy for a Ben offspring for some time and finally achieved that when I brought Mouse home with me. RIP Mouse and Archie's grandad.

So sad to hear the news Betty - I know he was so special to you. I am sad for you and Steve, but happy that Benny reached a good age, and had such a happy life with you. These little souls leave such a huge gap in our lives, which I personally think never quite heals. The others will be a comfort to you, but I'm sure Benny will be forever in your heart.

RIP Benny

Lots of love to you

As most of you probably realise, Betty isn't on the internet but I shall print off the replies and give them to her to read.
