Jasper had just had his 13th Birthday on Sunday but sadly his illness became too much for him and Sara had to say goodbye yesterday.

I am sure he is beside Andy now reminding him of the good days and fun they had.

I am SO SORRY to hear this news. Jasper was one of the few remaining puppies sired by my 'Blackbird' - the end of an era.................

He was such a nice dog, both as a person and as a racing dog and I know he will be badly missed.

As with all those above I too remember Jasper with great fondness. A formidable opponent he was too. He had many tussles with my boy Jools (Xcite) who has also just turned 13 and for the first time is looking a little frail. My memory of Jasper will always be of Andy trapping him. It always looked like Jasper might just get Andy in the trap too.
