Qualifiying Just Wonderd

I was reading through some of the show reports and things about qulifying for crufts. if its a small group say one or 2 in a class does the winning dog automaticly qualify even if there say not the very best. I was wondring cos i used to show cats and you could win but have your cc withheld if your cat wasnt the best becoues the yours was the only one in the class or a very small class. just being nosey lol

Dog judges can with hold places and tickets and it does happen So if there is a class with only one entry it could get a third place if the judge decides it is not worthy of a higher place. pretty sure that if there is only 3 in a class then all 3 would qualify if they are given 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions.
