Ooh there getting lively now, I've had to deflate the corner seats as they managed to scale the sides!!

Got them on cooked mince now , & after today they are on water twice a day & a bowl of Milk, They have managed to tear a hole in poor Chloe's belly right next to the teat. I think it must have happened when she stood up To get out, anyway they are thriving so I think she needs the rest now.

 
You know evryone seems to love the little Blueboy so here he is fast asleep with a full tummy.zzzzzzzzzzz

Well someone decided to getaway from it all & just enjoy the Sun, leave Mum to the pups..........

You need to cut the pups nails twice a week so they don't tear mum to bits and they need fresh drinking water down all the time.
 
Hi moonglow well she has sorted herself out she stands up while they feed,can you tell me is there a special water dispencer I can use for the water.

I put a bowl in & its immediately overturned with water everywhere, I hold it down hoping they will drink & they seem more intent on licking my arms & then biting them than the water,so is there a special way to do this ???

Both Black & white ones are boys ,one's a little fatty indeed, we had to weigh them yesterday to worm them. 3 are 70.2 kg 1 was70.7 but the little fat black one was 72.3Kg !!

We went Pet world yesterday & they have just opened a vets there , they will spay Chloe for £150 & also Microchip her free in the price,very reasonable I thought?

We gave Chloe & Whisp Drontal ? worming & the Pups have had Shirleys worming Syrup ,it worked fast this morning it was pretty disgusting to say the least but i think its all over now (hope) .

OK advice needed, the pups are feeding on puupy food like gannets & drink water so they dont need to feed off the mum,she herself tends not to want to feed them much.

My question is there any thing I can do to make the milk dry up ?

Today they have not fed off her at all & her teats look bloated ,will this just subside naturally & do her no harm or do I have to do something ?

I want to get her spayed ASAP ,the vet told me all her milk has to have gone before this can happen.........
 
a vet wont usually spey the mum untill the pups are 12 weeks old

how old are they now?

Don't have it done unless every bit of milk has dried up, or she may be left with milk for a long long time. Generally vets say it's best done in the middle of seasons - so Julie would be right - give it 12 weeks :thumbsup: (But make sure that milk has gne :thumbsup: ) Beautiful pups - I'm not a blue fan normally, but that blue boy is scrummy :wub:
