lalena scarring on your dog should not make the slightest bit of difference to it's showing prospects! scars incurred whilst hunting on a hunting breed should not be deemed as a penalty.

Am pretty sure it says this in the breed standard.

My dogs are workers only and unfortunately have had plenty of stitches over the years, all of the stiches put in by my vets have been left with long "tails" I think it is to prevent the stiches slipping and undoing.
