Just read all this thread Poor Picco I really hope the physical damage will heal and I hope it doesn't leave him too wary of big black dogs in the future.

Its very sad for Floyd, but I agree in a better place. It was an severe accident waiting to happen in my opinion and at least someone made the sensible choice. RIP FLOYD

I also thing it was the best decision to make as Floyd obviously had serious aggression issues and better to stop it happenening again, if he had been rehomed he could have ended up doing some serious damage to someone else and the new owner may have taken it into his own hands to do the punishing which would have caused more suffering all round.
