We recieved a letter from our vet this morning Appologiesing that he'd been unable to do more for Rose when we took her in on Thursday.

He also sent us this poem.

So lovely, Mark & Paula, that you have a vet who obviously cares for his human customers as well as the animals. That was a lovely poem although it made me cry :'( as it brought back all the emotions I felt when we lost Josh last year. Our vet was brilliant as well and it really helped to know that he understood how we felt at the time.

So sad to learn about Rose, a dreadful decision you had to make but I know you made the right one. When a dog starts suffering or their quality of life becomes impaired..........

Strange to say but Rocket (Roses' son) was acting very strange and unsettled last week about the 11th and 12th, we put it down to the torrential downpours we have been having in Cheshire but who knows what he was feeling.

However, Bandit (her grandson) was his usual usual, extrovert, self :lol:
