I knew Fred and Jax was quite right that he probably would have said something along those lines himself. Political correctness was not one of Fred's strengths, but he was loved for it and didn't half make us laugh. If ever there was a mass gaggle of laughter and Fred was there you could guarantee he had played a major part in it, if not started it off himself.

I just read the news and am deaply shocked. My very first own show dog was bred by Fred(lowglen cavalry man) some twenty years ago. He was then a well respected old chap!! And I,m so sorry that I never got the chance to pass on my condolances to his family. Rest in peace Fred with "the fonze". god bless you Heather xx
