very close finish with oscars pride leading from the trap rightuntil the diar ends of the race with the rapid finishing midnight run and lacey venture who had been battling thier way round the lightweights with lacey venture just gettin up on the line after a photo finish

overal a great first open and effort from the new nwrf comitee which i thoroughly enjoyed, hope u like the pictures

I would like to thank Peter for the fantastic photographs that he has produced on this site. It may seem quite easy to take these pictures, but i can assure you that those that he produced today were outstanding for the conditions he endured in getting them taken. Standing at the bottom bend with no shelter from the bitter east wind and every bit of his body well wrapped against the cold except for hands and two slits through his balacalava to see what he was taking. He walked back up to defrost in front of the open wood burner looking more like Scott of the Arctic than Scott from Andover. All credit is due to you Peter for a good job well done in harsh conditions. John Meades.
