Had a mess about with some of the videos from yesterday (bwra's new photo finish camera - gotta say i'm very impressed with the detail it captures, good quality video's slowed right down to see every muscle move, even caught flies going past 30yd away, good going for something that's essentially for shooting still images), never used this site before but seems pretty decent apart from the fact it reduces the quality and the action of the dogs is a lot less smooth than just uploading to the computer. Will try uploading to youtube/photobucket later see if the quality's any better. I used a default theme - you'll see it's not really apt for dog racing lol.

Hope everyone enjoyed the day yesterday and went home happy and injury free. With 90 dogs on the card the same as last week there was some excellent racing with very close finishes. Thank you to all our workers, Karen and Phil judges, Les and Geoff traps. Paul on the lure with Les standing in when Paul nipped home to check on Fizz and her pups, lure lad Elliot back with the lure before you could blink and of course Yvonne our multi tasker. A very big thank you to the other Karen for typing the programmes and doing a brilliant job again. Well done to supreme winners Mick & Glorias Classic Rock taking full advantage of the 2ft/lb beating the bitch winner Besides The Point, Joyce, Charlie,& Connor's Charisma, Jim's Fires Lad, Stevie B winning the 45lb scratch for Geoff & Joyce's Showman, they all ran brilliant. There will be a couple of notices put up at the champs asking people to empty their dogs out on the track field not on the grass verges near the bungalows and club, i did see one or two disapproving looks from residents. There is a foot path onto the field directly opposite the weigh in thanks. Good luck to everyone running at the championships. LYNDA.
