Not A Long Dog

oh and she's just 6/7 months old- just about to come into season too! becoming a very bossy young lady indeed- never owned a terrier before, i was expecting the worst and we got the best i think!

she has learnt obedience very quickly, great on walks, still a little worried about large dogs but she's realising they dont mean any harm.

just been diagnosed with hip dysplasia due to crap breeding by a farmer, but at least i took her on and got her insured

she'll probably need an operation and on/off anti inflammatories for her life, she is quite lame some days and not so bad others.

That was bad luck that a dog of her breeding and size should have hip dysplasia :( :( - you rarely see it in smaller dogs.

Best of luck with her future treatment :luck: - she looks an absolute sweetheart. :huggles:

PS My last dog (GSDxDobe) who had HD improved dramatically on Glucosamine and chondroitin injections.

thanks Zephyr

luckily i work at the vets and am having a good choice of options by asking all the vets i know- some suggest calcium, some antiinflammatories, some operation way, hydrotherapy etc.

fingers crossed x

thanks for your advice
