"That's the wonder of Woolworth's

That's the wonder of good old Woolies!"

D'ya remember the TV ad??

What a shame they are going under :(

I hope the administrators may be able to salvage

something of the old firm

What a shame,i hope they can save it and all the staff too :( Love Woolies, always a good range of Cds and Dvds

i heard this on the radio this morning

they also said they the company that owns pc world, dixons and comet/currys(cant remember which one) is also in big trouble, it was like 50million in debt :(

its sad i like woolies, we have got a big one along the road (Big W) and i was massive but every year the seem to loose a wee bit space, but this year its down to half is original size, now we know why :(

I just had to google 'clackers'. I kind of recognise them, but never had any :- "

It's a bit scary reading about about all this debt, and shops closing. It's sad about Woollies although I rarely shop there, only for DVD's occasionally. My OH's mum loves woollies and usually finds a bargain. She bought us some patio chair covers last time for a song. She'll be very upset.
