New Whippet Group For Northern Ireland

for those who know us Linda and I are trying to start a new whippet group here in Northern Ireland we are looking for like mind people who want to show and race their whippets we want to set up a committee keeping everything above board the committee including chairperson will have to be voted in .We need to get this group together with proper rules set in place etc if are interested in joining this group please send me a P M

Better a new club with it's own identity, Roberts's one man show was excellent while it lasted, but being realistic, to run events like he did you need a strong club with a committee and rules, and workers on the day! The last event showed just how many whippets there are out there so there shouldn't be a shortage of potential members/workers!

[i think most of us are in agreeement that a fresh start is just what the doctor ordered with rules and a committee fresh ideas and some rules put in place all money made spent and accounted for. We started taking names and contact details of interested people and will arrange to have a meeting to hear what people want from this and try and put a elected comminity in place I have priced insurance and hope to get that in place to get some events up and running after the meeting LULABELL we wont forget about the lurchers doing simular to what Robert was doing at the whippet racing and showing events
