SORRY

Think I'll have to be going back and resizing that baby !!!! hahahaha Can you tell I wasn't lying about being new to forums??

Someone put me onto photobucket to make it easier to post pictures, now I've just got to remember to resize them before putting them into photobucket ...

Nothing like taking a GOOD look !! haha

Elly and Edward are lovely Sharen and those are such sweet babies, we will be needing more pics of them

 what gorgeous dogs you have!! Elly's pregnant pic is lovely :D hasn't she got a beautiful face?

:D

Yes, we are very proud of them all - Elly is doing a terrific job of being a Mum ... will spend some time tomorrow resizing some pictures for you .. there are a few on our website (whelping box - nursery) if you'd like to take a peak ...

What stunning hounds!  That, er, rather large pic :- " has the most gorgeous eyes!  We do need more puppy pics though!

Oh, and welcome to K9! :)

Your website is brilliant, Sharen  I really like the "family feel" and you have set out very clear conditions for people hoping to own one of your puppies. Very impressive :)

I have tried to keep it (being the website) from becoming yet another 'Brag' site - we are hoping to provide as much practical information about these hounds as we can ... we couldn't find ANYTHING on Hamiltons when we first decided to start looking for a breeder so fingers crossed this site will assist others looking for their new companions both here and abroad.

Edited to add:

You guys might be able to help me out with something ... we are planning on having a 'Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends' theme for the puppies registered names - yes, strange I know but Elly decided to have her first 4 babies on my lounge, which just happened to have my son's Thomas quilt on it !!! We've come up with a few names but any suggestions would wonderful

Our rules are easy 24 characters including the prefix (I think you call it an affix) so something like "Snovantage My Lost Lady" ..... and no punction is allowed.

Welcome to K9 Sharen

Nice pics of yours

 I do love beagles they are an ideal sort of hound ....... good natured , nice size and build.

If I couldn't own a whippet a beagle would certainly be my second choice. :D

I don't mind beagles myself but found they were too 'small' for us and the Foxhound too 'big' ... hence we ended up with a HamiltonStövare. Only 17 of them in Australia at the moment and 10 currently live with us :- "

We live 20mins west of Ipswich (about an hour west of Brisbane) in Sunny Queensland -we were both born & bred up here but had been in Sydney for about 13yrs .... coming home persay was a shock !! Sydney is a 24/7 kinda place and where we are now you'd be lucky to find a corner store open on a weekend!! BUT it is quiet and that's what we like.

What about 'Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends' names in Swedish, e.g.

Thomas Tåget (= Thomas the Tank Engine)

Spöktåget (= Ghost Train)

Konduktören (= railway guard)

Vännen Draken (Dragon the friend)

...and here are lots of nice names:

Children's Booklist - Thomas the Tank Engine
