Hi K9ers

After four years of working on it I would just like to inform the K9ers that my book FROM ZUBER TO 1960, previewing all the champions up until 1960 where Mary Lowe's champions books started, is now at the printers.

I hope to have them at City of Birmingham, if anyone is interested please contact me.

The book is £12 or 18 euros plus postage and packaging.

I've taken the liberty (I hope that you don't mind) of cross posting this to the whippet pedigrees list.

Actually Emma , what you really mean is new `OLD` Champions Book  ;)

If one was being pedantic which if course one must not be considered as being one would in reality mean

the new Old Champions Book

Well almost. But if you eat shoots and leaves what you said was it is a new 'OLD' champions book and not a new OLD CHAMPIONS book.

In your context it is the 'champions book' that is old and a new edition has been printed.

Whereas the correct interpretation is that it is a new book of 'old champions'

Mind one musnt be pedantic must one

o:)

Girls, Girls

Handbags at dawn

Unfortunately I will not be at the Congress.

The price now with P&P to Australia would be £16.50.

I should have my copy soon. Its on its way via some houndy people on route to Aust.

For anyone wanting to know the quickest way to pay for the book try Western Union. They were even cheaper that a major bank. The money was available as I left the agents.

Will anyone have any copies available at Richmond??? My friend must have missed you at Birmingham cos she was going to buy us both a copy there, :))

I will try & bring my copy to Richmond so you can see what you are missing :- "

(& it will make you very envious! ;) )
