I'm just thinking, given the amount he shivered after washing, I don't reckon he's going to enjoy getting rained on.

If anyone has a really small coat they could sell me (he's only 9" at the moment, it's 3 weeks until he'll be using it so maybe a 10 or 11ish) that'd be great.

Citycroft make some lovely puppy coats at very reasonable prices which you might be interested in.

Below are some pics of our Macy in her fleece puppy coat (now a big strapping girl I might add!) I think they are only about £5.50.

Thanks for this - I think I'll do it, the shakes make me fear for his life and that's after a warm shower so god knows what November rain what do to him!!

aww your new puppy is really gorgeous.

Not worth risking him getting ill by going out too soon, my friends have got a new cocker pup and he's full of beans going stare crazy in the house. You may find that he'll refuse to go walkies in the rain like ours ! but he'll still need his coat.
