Well first of all id like to thank all of you for your concern, i will be letting one of you name my puppy, up to now, i do like kate and Gem, but years ago i worked a manchester terrier her name was Fagin :lol: so would this name suit a whippet puppy, eh :lol:

Fagin would suit a whippet puppy perfectly, as they do tend to steal a little bit o But Keith, it's not a girlies name - you couldn't call a pretty little girlie Fagin - could you :unsure: unless you keep a boy of course :thumbsup: I thought you had your heart set on a Jilly daughter though don't you?

Hi Cornish.... I have the definition of JILL here, someone bought it for me as  a present.
Jill....."Young Child" ..Steadfast, gentle and unassuming, but won`t be taken for granted. She has hidden strength. It is the female form of Julian.

June....I LOVE JENNA as a name. It has  a lovely soft `ring` to it and I think it would go lovely with Jill !  :thumbsup:

I always find the names come when you see them but that doesn't stop me thinking up what to call my babies :thumbsup:

I do try to use names which sound different when called and are nice and short (or can be shortened) - Jinny's call signal is "Jin" :thumbsup:

I like the name Jess ...... goes with Jill and sounds different!!!

Oh I love choosing puppy names :b .......Google baby names Kieth :thumbsup: ...... Most sites give you different types of names from traditional, tribal, unusual and all ......Keeps me busy for days .....Like you, I'll be (hopefully) breeding a litter this year, so will be googling baby names like mad :lol: ......... I like unusual names ......My girls are ....

If I had gotten a girl puppy, I wanted to call her Wren. I'm not having a girl puppy, so it is safe to spill I think it is important to have a name that sounds different from the other dogs so the right dog comes when you call it. You wouldn't want Belle for example or Tilly or Cally

Of course Keith Fagin might be very suitable as you may need to keep a dog pup...Jill just might have all dogs :lol:
