N.W.R.F. 2004 RACE CALENDER.

We liked it there, nice track and nice food and you could keep warm inside. Dont think we will ever know what rearly happened.

Yes debbie there was a great turn out at the fed open held at newton aycliffe after the english derby this year ...was good to see so many people entering there dogs after a long weekends racing ...

But i dont think we will see the fed be able to repeat this open next year while yvonne and tony are still running it ..as newton aycliffe council have banned them from there track because of their positive test ..also i think that is why the fed have moved the devon open as stated in the whippet news june 2002:

in answer to tony saying he would like to keep opens central as people would not travel so north why put so many as far south as he has

3 at warwick(a lovely track thow)

1 at worcester

1 at fordingbridge which are both again lovely tracks

3 are central at ashfordby

AND ONLY 1 UP NORTH(NOT VERY FARE)

not forgetting 3 at that track askern- why can they not be ran at easington

ive always said and a lot of people have said they agree that if the opens are spread and shared north one year and south the next then people will say its fair as we have all had to travell and on to kinsley i dont know what went on and why it was lost money or not if it is money we as racers are willing to pay that bit extra if it means a safe run for our dogs and ourselfs being fed and watered as most of us have come far and wide and like nothing more then hot food and drink to get us through the day.

i didnt mean 100 pound in total. i ment that as well as the gate money...because the manager told me personaly that on some meetings, there where poor turnouts. and that the gate money did not cover his staff expences for the day. so perhaps a cash amount should have being negotiated, for track hire.!
