Hi Everyone,
I'm fairly new to the forum and came on here to find out some more about whippets and get some advice....well I recently took the plunge and got my first whippet. (w00t) His name is Busta and he is 10 months old. He is the litter brother to Pearl who I've seen pics of on here before. Thanks to Terry and Denise for letting Busta come to live with me. He has settled in extremely well and is everything I could possible have wished for. He's playful and fun but his recall is fantastic! I couldn't be happier with him and I'm so glad I chose a whippet. Just one problem....I need to find him a friend. I was supposed to be homing a lurcher but that didn't work out so now I have to try to find Busta a suitable playmate. I have a funny feeling the 'one whippet is never enough' thing may prove true! I took him up to meet my racing greyhounds at the weekend and he had so much fun with them. It was really funny to see how well he interacted with them in spite of the size difference He was really confident and they all got on brilliantly. I suggested retiring one of the greyhounds to be his friend but my trainer is having none of it!

And exploring the woods (white socks a bit black from jumping into puddles!)...
