my lot go hungry most nights as they hate my cooking ,so they usualy end up having to make ther own :- " i know im such a bad mother :b
 
i'm hopeless at sewing,but i love cooking,any time you fancy a sunday roast let me know nicky :thumbsup: ,one thing i am good at is yorkshire puddings.
 
Nicky I am no Nigella but my lot love when I do lasagne,I get the recipes from Delia online and I also do a 3 cheese,spinach and pine nuts lasagne from her recipes too and it is delicious and so easy to make,honestly hun if I can do it anyone can,anyway it gives me an excuse to buy red wine all the time,a bit for the lasagne and the rest for me :- " :- " :lol: :cheers:
 
I do a mean Indian night....all from scratch....lovely fresh ingredients too... coriander, yoghurt, tomatoes, spices, lamb, chicken.....nan breads, poppadums, Rice, you name it...

you lot suppy the wine and booze and its on... :) :cheers:

Indian is my favourite food,love it, we never have any left for the morning,scuppered it all the night before :D

Wow!! I am impressed :lol: I stick to baltis love em! Sat here hungry now,a cup of coffee and a mini roll is not quite the same....oh alright I have had 5 :D
 
All you need to learn to cook is a basic bolognaise sauce and you have a different meal for every night of the week

Spag bol

Lasagne

Keema Curry

Chilli

Tomato cottage pie

The list is endless for a couple of pounds of mince

Even better make a 10lb batch on a monday and just put it together every evening as required.

Its steak tonight here for us...grilled of course, nice and healthy with garlic

with roasted mushrooms, peppers and onions and courgettes...yummmy...
 
homemade chicken and spud soup here (well more like a stew really, i like the lumps)

my fav dinner i cook myself.......its lovely with some fresh crusty bread!

my o/h doesnt like me in the kitchen, he thinks hes the greatest chef ever :- "

i must admit he is very good, but after we have eaten one of his "new creations"............we HAVE to sit there and tell him how fantastic he is :- "

I cook all my stuff from scratch, can't stand microwave cooking, I'd happily chuck it away were it not for starting oof the jacket spuds (got to be covered in oil and crisped up in the oven though :thumbsup: ).

I love Delia online too :D

I have to admit my husband does most of the cooking in our house. He actually quite enjoys it so I leave him to it! :D

yeah same here.............i just wish he didnt make such a bloody mess :angry:

then yells at me cos im in his way trying to tidy up around him :oops:
