Map based dog finder?

Hi,

I'm collecting information about Lost&Found pages (we are working on a free map based one):

- Do you know other map based dog finder apps/websites?

- Do you think it helps to see the information on a map? Or is it irrelevant?

I'm also happy to read if you would use a site where you could find other dog owners near your park/town/area. Where you could organise walkies together. Find services on a map, rate them. Maybe request a quote.

Sounds like a great idea, I've not come across it before. Couldn't get the search to work, is that just a developer niggle?

It's relatively new. We are trying to find out if people would use it. We found local based facebook groups a lot and this makes us think that location is important. But you can see their posts only if you are approved in that facebook group? It doesn't seem to be effective. And then there are other lost&found pages where you can read lists, but can't see it on a map.

What where you trying to search for? I think we might need to check the database we use. Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot!

You can still zoom out and in using the map.
