I guess it was the 1000 guineas which is an open race so lurchers vs greyhounds vs non-peds vs whippets etc

Regards

Well done and thanks to all involved in the organisation at Lurcherworld at the weekend. I attended both days and there was a really friendly atmosphere with a great turnout of dogs (even though the rain tried to wash out the showing on day 2).

Been a while since I've seen Lurcherworld get some positive comments but I have to second it. A cracking event with a great turn out on the Saturday. The showing was still going on when I left. It was right by the entrance so loads of non Lurcher people got to see some quality dogs in actionHeard it was a bit damp yesterday but still a good turn out.

Did anybody see that strange new sport in the next arena???? Horse/ Skateboard Drag Racing???????? (w00t)

 Well done Les and all the best to you and your dogs for the future .

But well done to les your dogs ran really well as did all the others that competed

it was the first lurcherworld event I've attended and I thought it was great!

Such a welcoming group to me with my two pet whippets! who did love having a go with chase the bunny and 100yd dash

Thanks to all involved in making it such a fun day...weekend...but I couldn't go sunday!!!

well done les ,i enjoyed my weekend ,had a bash at the 100guineas open race ,only managed a second on saturday but manage a heat win on sunday which was good enough for me ,mouse had 4.93 in the 100 yd dash not bad for a lurcher lol ,was great to catch up and put some names to faces
