Went to watch some lurcher racing at the weekend,people and dogs had come from far and wide. It was a good day out with some good racing. Mind you,there was on occasion some dodgy slipping going on.

Have to say I love watching running dogs racing. It is truly poetry in motion. Even my girl, (if she's in a four dog race she will be fourth). But watching her fly along is wonderfull and she loves it.

I agree, they are a sight to behold when they are going full tilt. You can see the enjoyment they get out of it.
I was in heaven,there must of been 30+ lurchers of all shapes and sizes. But I fell in love with a 6 month old Bedlington x Whippet who was there to watch and learn. Gorgeous,absolute gorgeous she was.
