Jax, Ive done a few Pansies in my time.

Nearly all my work is in Acrylics because you can get very good detail and I like it to dry quite quickly. I also paint very large abstracts and semi abstracts.

Cant find the mussels, they are on a floppy somewhere but I must have about 2,000 images and not very good at cataloging :blink:

Thank you all for your lovely comments its nice to see that people like your work.

Have painted most African wildlife, most people want Cheetahs, but I love the zebras and gazelles too.

Im not world famous because like a lot of artist I am a hopeless business person , there are loads of excellent artist out there and people are still buying prints from ikea, and following the crowd. I could get an agent but that might mean I would have to stand around at the opening of lots of exhibitions and miss a dog show :b

I teach a fair bit and get quite a few commissions so get by, its an up and down sort of job, money sometimes nothing next but I cant do anything else as well.

dont get me started on ikea :x i know 3 people, totally unconnected, who have the self same pictures up. depressing, but they are sooo pleased and actually SURPRISED when you say 'thats ikea, isnt it?' you'd think they had a genuine monet or picasso! i got dragged there once, and i'm never going back!

given the positive response you've had here, i'm sure you'll be inundated with requests! you and OEH can be the resident k9 artists
