Labradoodle puppy

Update - bile absorption blood tests came back normal. Still in the dark as to what caused the seizures. Good news is that she’s not had any furthe seizures since we stopped the medication on Sunday. I’m left feeling mystified & a little uneasy as to what her future health may be.
Fingers crossed things proceed with no further outbreaks. Trust that she’s happy now that she’s back with her family. Best hopes and wishes to you all.

Yes, really glad to hear she's home and doing ok. It is an inevitable worry not knowing why she had those seizures but everything crossed it won't happen again and that now you get to enjoy having her back in your family and she gets to settle in and grow with you all too.:)

I only just read the story today...how is Daisy doing now?

She’s still doing well thanks. No further seizures & behaving like a normal puppy. Obviously still a bit worried as we never found out the cause of her seizures - find myself constantly watching her for any unusual movement etc. Also finding it difficult to fully bond with her in case there’s something seriously wrong.

As someone who has Labradors, I'm not taken by surprise by your experience unfortunately. I would suggest trading standards and the local council as places to report the breeder as they will likely just repeat the mating. I've seen it time and again, people haven't got all the facts and breeders take advantage.
