Full of dread, I took Jeebs along to the vets today to get his results of his biopsy.

It's a histiocytoma!!!! (w00t) :sweating:

I swear I nearly fell over with surprise after having 2 vets feeling solemn about the outcome and both thinking it was a Mast Cell Tumour. Diane the surgeon had even been on the phone to Kevin after the surgery apparently telling him she didn't think it would be a good outcome.

I'm totally delighted (as are the vets) with the result. Furthermore his wound is healing wonderfully and I've been told that his ligaments and bone were undamaged during the surgery so he'll be fine to run again when everything's healed up. :cheers:

Thats good news, I must have been on hols jac I didn't know, so glad the outcome is not what the vets said :sweating:

Spry had one on her leg a couple of years back and had to have it removed but it hasn't come back(they said it might) they are such a worry as are any lumps :sweating:

Great news! I know exactly how you feel, we went through the same thing in April/May/June with Fynn. What a huge relief when they get the all clear :huggles:
