Full of dread, I took Jeebs along to the vets today to get his results of his biopsy.
It's a histiocytoma!!!! (w00t) :sweating:
I swear I nearly fell over with surprise after having 2 vets feeling solemn about the outcome and both thinking it was a Mast Cell Tumour. Diane the surgeon had even been on the phone to Kevin after the surgery apparently telling him she didn't think it would be a good outcome.
I'm totally delighted (as are the vets) with the result. Furthermore his wound is healing wonderfully and I've been told that his ligaments and bone were undamaged during the surgery so he'll be fine to run again when everything's healed up.
A HUGE thank you to all of you for your support, PM's and texts. :huggles:
