Its Pancake Day!!!

We had ice cream strawberries and syrup in ours (all freshly made of course... before becoming a mummy I was a 2nd Chef so tis frowned on in my house if I even thinking of cheating.... as Ian said, he married me coz I could cook LOL)

Anyhow, they were yummy!!!! I love pancake day :p

I do love a freshly made thin pancake (great for stuffing things in and wrapping it all up) with a Mars ice cream wrapped up in it... cor they are lovely as it all melts in the hot pancake.....

Pancakes for breakfast anyone????!?!?

A batter mix whether for pancakes or yorkie puds (hubby and his family from Barnsley.. and I get told off by them for this.. but I am Cornish and this is the way we do it down here) you don't add salt but some sugar instead.. now that is good stuff

We forgot it was pancake day until someone mentioned it on the radio so we had crumpets instead cos we had some in the cupboard :D With melted cheese on.

Tut, tut Clair! :- " Hope your new vicar knows what she is letting herself in for.

I quite like ours with a savoury filling but we kept it simple this year and had sugar, lemon juice and lots of lovely maple syrup! :D

I think that's the problem Gillian - New Vicar here now (although not installed) and I'm heading rapidly into retirement/atheism/agnostic...!
