Is It Just Me Or Does Susan Boyle Resemble

Totally agree, too many people have to fit into a stereotype image to be accepted.

Good luck to her, and I hope she stays grounded to her beliefs. :)

sorry but shes not actuly ugly ok so shes not got any makup on or pluked her eyebrows and shes chubby well so is dawn french and and pleanty of men would with her. look at susan face properly she not got a big noise shes not got any actuly ugly feuters at all she just doent do pluking and waxing and makeup and she doenst speand loads of money on her hairand clothes . so there are lots and lots of woman who dont. and lke I said before shes apparantly become a sex simble so who are we to call her. theres odviously pleanty out there that like her looks aswell as voice

Yes this got me a wee bit angry,,,people on k9 dont know the lady and slag her as she's not good looking, but she entred a contest as she has a nice voice :D ,,I got a bit of banter today at the club,,as I was sticking up for a woman who live's close to me,,,but when I said to the said to the member's,,,yes I got angry, as this woman was singing,,not going to be a model,,they understood,,why I was angry :D

Good manners cost nothing,,the way Im bringing my own kids up,,,they know when they get somthing to say Thank You,,,and they exspect the respone,,,Your Welcome.

When I give my 2 kids something,,they say Thank You,,I alway's reply,,Your Welcome

MANNERS,,cost nothing :D :D :D
 
How sad, to poke fun at and degrade a person because of the way they look :(

I believe personality and character are the important things and if you have a talent, such as Susan Boyle has, then you are head and shoulders above a number of so-called "beautiful people" who can be shallow and worthless.

I guess we've all maligned others at some stage in our lives but as I have got older (yet another year on the clock today, lol) I have realised the untold hurt that this can cause to others so I try very hard not to hurt my fellow humans now, either by deed or word :thumbsup:

I have watched the Susan Boyle clip many times and I've always been impressed by her stage presence. It must be like being "all dressed up with nowhere to go" at the moment for her, waiting for her next performance. Most people I know will vote for her, an unassuming middle aged lady who has devoted a great part of her life to caring for he mum, just that alone is enough for me. I must be honest and say I don't really ever get terribly excited by child performers. Most of them have had some training already in their young lives, if they have the talent and the right connections they will get many opportunities to succeed. Susan now has that chance and I want to see her grab it with both hands.
