Is CBD oil really good for pets?

Hi, This is Sandra. Recently I bought a CBD Oil for Dog for my Tommy as my friend suggest me to buy this homeopathic product for my pet. Its effect was not bad at all but I already questioned it in another dog forum. They said me that, "" Homeopathic views differ greatly from traditional medicine."" So, Should we use traditional medicine for pets? What's the opinion of the vet? Do you have any suggestion, guys?

CBD products are absolutely safe for your dog as they are non-toxic and offers a relaxing stimulant and pain-relief effects. Cannabinoids come from the hemp oil (or hemp seed oil) and leave out most if not all of the THC making it a safe supplement for your pet. just something I found...

i agree with this

It's not homeopathic though, is it? If it was, you could be pretty sure it's safe (though in my opinion you'd also be wasting your money).

This article seems more balanced than some I've come across on the internet: Cannabis Oil for Dogs: Everything You Need to Know | petMD The main risk seems to be of overdosing, BUT correct dosage rates haven't been scientifically researched....

CBD can be derived from the cannabis plant that's why it is safe for our pet. There is no substance that can harm them from using it upon reading this Would You Get High With Your Pets? It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract. That's why its safe.

Yes, absolutely safe for pets. More info on Hempine.co.uk for anyone wanting more info.

I am giving 4% CBD Drops to my dog and 3% CBD Drops to my cat. I spoke with customer support from one brand in EU and they said it is safer to use lower % for cats than for dogs. So I have a question for you. Is this dosage and % depending on pets weight?

Hi Sandra. I’ve grown up with dogs and horses and now manage a show jumping yard in Oxfordshire. I was first introduced to CBD by my fiance who is a former professional athlete, and is obsessed with all things health. When he told me that CBD works the same way for all mammals, I knew I wanted to help spread awareness of it and do my part to help reduce a lot of unnecessary suffering. I believe that animals experience the same feelings that we do, so whether they are in physical pain from injuries or digestive problems, or are suffering from anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder, we all prone to these experiences at some point along our journeys, so any and all help goes a long way!
It brings me great joy to know that a lot of these problems can be helped with the products I sell. For 1 month I’m giving away CBD for dog owners to try. Get in touch if you would like to try it. Hempine.co.uk

sorry for the slow reply Denise! I hope your dog is doing well.

CBD is great for pain relief and will also speed up recovery time due to its strong natural anti-inflammatory properties.

If I can help you with anything else just ask.

CBD Oil has anti-inflammatory properties and it really helped my dog. I am now convinced and believe that is so good for humans and pets! I've done a lot of research on google and use this UK brand www.cbdo.co.uk They have a special organic CBD Oil for pets. It's worth to read and research, I believe that my pet deserve the very best.

I know people who both use and produce the CBD oil.
It does have anti- inflammatory properties and it can help calm , relieve pain, reduce seziures, ease digestive problems, etc. But... it is not a cure and should never be sold as such.
One of the scariest things Ive heard recently is that CBD oil is being promoted as an alternative for vaccinations in both pets and humans. There is NO medical proof that CBD oil can cure any of the diseases covered by vaccinations.

Jo I am reading that CPD is good to use for dogs who have cancer. My dog has Thyroid cancer. The tumour was successfully removed but he now has secondaries in his right lung. I was offered Palladia as an option to potentially extend his life as it can help slow the spread but has lots of side effects. I opted not to give to him as quality of his life more important. Can CPD help him in any way.
