We had a great day too. It seemed like ages since we went to the last open, so this one was a welcome change from working at home. The weather was kind to us too :D Thanks to all who helped put on the meeting, and the friendliness and sportsmanship from those who ran their dogs, especially those in 25-28lb final. The heavyweight final was probably the most hotly contested final of all, with no one able to guess who might come out on top. Well done to all the finalists

Just one correction to the results, - the Quarter Finals for the Consolation 29-32lb should also include Winterfell Lay Dee Grey. Sorry Sarah, - here's a pic of her in her first race to make up. :)

You'd be very welcome Trac - good job you don't live any nearer though, or we'd force a racing whippet on you, and make you come racing  Hope to see you at the last Nationals perhaps.

In future I must remember to ask are there any 5 dog races before agreeing to line judge. :sweating: By the end of the day my eyes were like this  It made for some very tough racing though.

Every dog who made it to the finals really earned their place in it. Top dogs and top racing in all the groups.
