Wasn't it a good days racing. Throughly enjoyed myself. I love watching bend racing. There was a moment when it looked like He's The One was going to hang onto first place but Angie's just oh so tough bitch Topaz wasn't going to let that happen. Congrats to Andy for simply owning and breeding a dog that could run her so close.
It was nice to catch up with Ricky (Rocky) and see that he's settled in so well with Steve and Betty. There were lots of comments about calling him in a 'Bianca' voice.
Can't quite believe that such a radical right hand runner loved a bend but Conway Tear clearly does. Bends really suited her.
Also enjoyed the hairy dog trial at the end. Scruffy v Jake. Scruffy is a beddy x whippet who is built like a whippet x Jake whoe is a beddy x whippet who is built like a beddy. I'm sure that we all know who won but Jake didn't give up despite getting very confused when the lure didn't go in a straight line.
So thank you to Ray and Co for getting the track into such good condition, everyone who worked so hard to put such a good days racing on. To all the dogs who gave us such sport. My only complaint is that I didn't win on the raffle. Betty B you did remember to put my tickets in didn't you? (w00t) :teehee:
ps and missing Sheila flashing at John Bishop during the presentation. Poor show that no one took a picture.
Sounds like you all had a brilliant day - Well done to all winners and finalists and a special well done to Typhoon Tilly Fatal Attraction Darcie's big bro Flash in the pan  Olive's daddy Deadly Cocktail  and VC Alchemist
