Its bad enough in Scotland in May and August let alone April. You must have all been frozen.

Although we didnt get placed at all yesterday

We have done much better today . A local show only minuites from me and Libbee won Best Puppy, Best of Breed , 2nd in the Adult hound Group and Best Puppy in Hound group .

The weather was dreadfull but at least it wasn't cold or blizards of snow and there was a very nice amosfear (sp?) in our whippet only tent  :thumbsup:

But, yes, the atmosphere was good! :thumbsup:

At least the weather cleared up in time to go home, in fact, our whippies had great fun after judging before we packed the car and left. We went down to the bottom of the showground and let them have a good old hoolie off their leads. Rupert nearly caught a crow and thought it was very funny so then started of Sidney!!! Coursing live game is so much fun!!!

Jan, I've was doing some almost topless sunbathing (not a nice thought I know, but it's to emphasize a point (w00t) ) in Scotland last May. Beautiful time of year to visit Scotland :wub:

BTW I don't usually bother with sunbathing, but we'd been walking up a mountain for an hour, it was really sunny and warm, and there was a fab view, so I sat down, had a sandwich, then felt like a nap, and it was so isolated, I just took my t-shirt off :- " (w00t)

Sorry... :b doesn't have much to do with the show, but I felt duty bound to stick up for Scotland as I love it there.

Thermal vest, light weight jersey-knit poloneck, knitted polo neck, body warmer and then fleece coat!!! And that was just the Whippets!!!
