Hi, i came on k9 a couple of months ago as we were so happy that we had just purchased our very first whippet puppy.

We are very sorry to say that we have lost her in her struggle with a mysterious kidney disease, which not even liverpool university could diagnose. She was also born with leg problems which have only arisen recently.

All of hollies problems have baffled numerous specialists who have worked extremely hard to help her, but were unsucessful.

Holly will be greatly missed as she was such a little star and never complained even though she had been through so much.

We have tried to contact her breeder and there has been no response as vets wanted to know if any other puppy had any similar problems etc. We also feel that they should know about her so they can have thier bitch checked out as the vets have a feeling it could have been passed down. If anyone knows of her breeders please tell us. Miss m eaton of market drayton. Thanks very much.

I feel very privelidged to have met Holly she was a beautiful little girl and will be sadly missed by not only you Jackie and Ian but also the rest of your family both those with 2 and 4 legs .Although I knew of her problems it was a great shock last night to hear you'd lost her .I know what you've been through trying to discover the cause of the problems .

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of little Holly. :( She sounded like such a little fighter...it is very sad that she lost the battle in the end.
