I came across dogforum.co.uk while researching courses for animal behaviours ! So pleased I have found other dog owners !

Having been around dogs all my life, and various breeds I love all dogs ! I have had my heartbroken by a few over the years, most recently the loss of my beloved Lakeland Patterdale Terrier aged 15 years. Losing him January this year- just as I was getting over covid was the most difficult time.

I live with my wonderful family of all boys , who make me so proud !
But it seemed right to bring in some girls !!

I am blessed with two beautiful Whippets ! Willow is almost 3 years old and has been recently joined by her sister Ivy Pearl 10 weeks- They are both sisters , having the same parents - but are not litter mates !

I adore all dogs, but this breed has stolen my heart ! Their kind, gentle and loving nature is what's needed to heal a broken heart.

I adore Whippet so much and due to their sensitive nature and need for home comforts-that I am opened Whippetretreat@home home boarding for Whippets and Sighthounds during holidays in Essex

Hello and welcome. I've lived with lots of terriers and lurchers over the years, but now just have one elderly lurcher. Looking forward to hearing more about yours.

Welcome, whippets are such beautiful hounds I don't think I'll have any other breed.

We’ve always had whippets (rescues) but we’re drawn to sighthounds anyway.
