Help with pug

Tracey i live in cheshire and have a 4 year old male pug called dexter
Dexter is very well house trained but recently on 2 occasions hes peed on our bed this is very out of character dos anyone have any ideas???

With a sudden change in toilet habits, it's always best to get a vet check to find out if it's a medical problem rather than a behavioural one. And it's a good idea to take in a sample when you go.

I would also take note of if he drinks more than usual, any changes to his eating/diet and activity levels..is he sleeping more than normal...does he need to go out for a wee more often, does he pass the wee easily/as normal..is it just odd drop or proper quantity, has he put weight on lately, any mobility issues etc etc?
Well anything and everything in general. If you go to vet, they should/may investigate with questions his day to day habits and behaviour as those answers can give some hints if there is someway to narrow down for any possible tests and investigations. So more you take notice and be prepare to answer for, the better.

Hi everything is completely normal with him ,he scratches at the door when he wants to go out we where home both occasions when he dod it .our bed was soaked

Unfortunately we can only give some ideas and pointers, finding out exactly what is going is almost impossible.
Like already mentioned, there is possibility it can be something medical. It doesn't have to be anything drastic...bit of underlying infection and it might cause him loose his bladder control....or it could be sign something else is creeping in and that is only a first warning signs. As it has happened only twice so far ( how far apart each accident happened/), and as you said everything else seems to be 'normal'..it could be something totally innocent as a plain and simple accidents, it does happen.
Maybe he was in deep sleep and didn't get up in time? Or it could be behavioural....was he perhaps hot happy with something/somebody...scary noise? There is so many things that could be the reason and yet for no reason at all.
Bladder infection is easily tested and at least that one is out of list of possibilities if you are really worried.
