Thank you Graeme, I will have a go. Dora now knows that the click noise means a treat and is sitting every time I make a move just in case it involves food without even being asked 
She also somehow managed to get under the duvet between me and OH last night without waking either of us up, I woke up as usual at about six to take her for a wee and discovered her paw on my face and head on the pillow beside me. I'm reassured by reading the board that this is normal whippy behaviour, I'm guessing I need to get cracking on her pyjamas - or just let her get in the bed
I guess when she's fully grown we might notice sooner
