Hi, I have joined to find support with all sorts of dog related issues and to make new friends :)
Ì have a nearly 16yr old miniature poodle called Penny whom I adopted from a rescue having fostered her for 12mths first. I also have a working Cocker spaniel called Skipper who I adopted 3mths ago and he is now 8mths old and quite a handful! He is scared of other dogs and can be wary of new people too.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some fellow doggie fanatics :)

Hi! Well done with your rescue - we have a 10 yo old corgi x - but oh-oh-oh another cocker owner! We have had both workers and show and now have a worker x show...they are wonderful and life enhancing...and like personal trainers.:p

Hi thanks for the welcome. I think Skipper may actually be part show cocker as he doesn't have a very flat top to his skull and it's a little narrow too. Also he has quite large ears.... All indicators that he is probably a mix of show and working lines. Whatever he is gorgeous and absolutely full of energetic fun!!

Oh I agree! Even now she is very old she still knows how to strut her stuff. She was nicknamed the Black Bullet by friends when she was young as once off lead she always had a Moonie and boy could she run. Miniature Poodles have a very similar frame to whippets under all their coat. She can also be full of wickedness ;-)

Hello, looking forward to seeing photos of your dogs they sound like real characters..
