Hi all,

Really looking forward to being part of the community here on Dogforum.co.uk!

As a dog lover, I set up a site that helped dog owners find an alternative to kennels as I know that when my dog went into a kennel, it was really painful for my wallet, and I was concerned that the poor thing was there with multiple dogs.

So we set up dogstay.co.uk that allows dog lovers to sign up and offer to take dogs into their own homes - and make a little cash too when they do it. Early days but would love your thoughts on what you would like to see on the site and how we can improve it and offer you what you want..

hey there! you site looks cool so far, just had a little check and there is someone local to me.. Which would be handy if my dog weren't a bit crazy... I only rarely leave him, and only then with a couple of really trusted folk. Will pass your info on to friends of mine that would find it handy though,

Noted on the craziness of dogs - we would always expect that you would meet the person before agreeing to let them take your dog into their home anyway - I know I certainly would. We just want to make it easier for you to find someone to take care of your dog - as an alternative to kennels
