Pip the cavapoo has just come to live with our family. She is 10 weeks old but is crying in the night ...boo. I am knackered. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.

Maybe put a ticking clock in the bed with her to simulate the mothers heartbeats.

Do you take her out for toilets before bedtime ?

When is she fed at night ?

Do you keep going to her when she crys ?

She's been to the loo before bedtime, she's fed around 6.30pm.

I went to her this morning at 4am as she was crying really hard but she went outside and did a poo...so I guess that was her way of telling me that she needed to go.

She loves company...I guess it will take some time but it's difficult.

thanks for coming back to me :)

hi try the thunder jacket , also the collar it realy does help also put a boundery between you and your dog she can see you but canot toutch you untile shes calmed down goodluck x

Thanks...I'll investigate. She's still so young...I'll be super patient and calm with her ^_^ and hope that she settles at night. She follows me everywhere so is happy during the day x

Just give her time, consistancy and love and she will be fine, very early days

She's getting better. Unfortunately I have had the first ' step in her own poo' incident and the house is pongy!

There's something about dog poo that is just yukky! ( everything)

She slept til 6.45 this morning so we are getting into a routine. More challenging than a new baby!

Thanks for your advice :)
