I've been asked to cross post this email, which was posted on a GSD forum.

Sounds as though this poor dog has been through the mill enough already .... I hope someone may have sighted him or have info.

Please feel free to cross post again to other sites .... if I can get the poster I will put this on too, but nothing other than the text came through to me. If anyone knows anything, PM me and I'll pass it through to the GSD site

Hi,

Please could you keep a look out for Buster?

He is a black and tan with white flecks German Shepherd Dog aged about 4-5 years old

- missing since 21/09/07 from Billericay, Essex CM12.

Buster went missing from his Billericay garden after two men driving a red Ford

Focus, were seen talking to him. Web strapping was used as a lead.

Buster's owner is quite elderly and rehomed him 3 years ago.

Buster had been used in some government project, that thought it was a good idea to

give drug addicts a dog, to help them become more responsible and help with their

rehabilitation (no comment from me), so you can imagine the state this poor lad was

in.

Buster could be anywhere by now as he was taken by car so that is why I'm emailing

some of you that are not in the immediate area.

I've attached a Word poster and would be grateful if you could display it and also

pass copies on to friends, contacts or other branches.

Buster is really a handsome lad and although his owners have done a fantastic job

with him, he still has a few problems and I'm really worried for him.

As you can understand his elderly owners desperately want news of him.

Thanks for your help,

Katie.

god love him lets hope hes found safe and sound real soon.x

Sorry, but this just makes me furious.

Hi all,

Sorry if I cause any offence here, I will word what I say very carefully so as not to cause any.

That area is frequented by people that are well known for stealing dogs. They are more into spaniels, russels and lurchers.

Unfortunately these ..............P*******S ..................("parasites" :- " ) pass through most area's at one time or another

They will take ANYTHING that isnt nailed down & that as well if they get the chance. :(

Buster is one of the lucky ones, thankfully he came home

so glad this poor lad is back home. :) i wish the police would do more to prosecute the thieves who steal peoples pets and put them through so much distress. :(

failing that kneecap the barstewards o:)

The police are next to useless in situations like this Kris, about all they are good at doing is condemning folk for paying the ransom demands BUT perhaps if they took the whole thing a little more seriously & actually did something then folk wouldnt be forced to have do what they do to get their pets back.

From past experience i know exactly what their train of thought on stolen pets is & lets just say someone knicking a can of pet food from the local store would rank higher on their "to do" list.

BUT putting it all in perspective, maybe its because they know there really is no point in pulling out all the stops to try & catch the theiving scum that do this as...............most of them have no fixed abode & most just "move on" before their actual court dates if caught anyway so the whole thing turns into nothing but a huge loss of tax payers money & a total farce

I think your option of kneecapping is by far the best option

Personally...................i'd just run em down....................then reverse, just for good measure ;)
