I used to go to him with my whippets (many years ago) when I lived in Cheshire - great vet.

Elaine

Ive used him as nantwich vet hospital is only 1/2 mile from my house here in dullsville :teehee:

Ive never used him for a racing injury but he castrated edward and sorted out evie-diva when she overdosed on ibuprofen.

My in-laws have been using the practise for years as they have gundogs.....so far cant fault them but as i said ive never had a race injury yet (fingers crossed).

Steve leonard(vet school, vets in practice etc) has opened up near me with his brother....that may be worth checking out just cos he's good looking (w00t)

Hiya Mike is the top man for greyhounds, this is my vets practice so have seen him for various whippet things, people bring dogs from all over the country, he does specialise in greyhounds The practice is very professional and they have all the equipment on site for most things Not cheap but i have stayed with them for 20 years jan

He works Friday nights at Belle Vue, i've just been googling some of his articles after hearing loads of good reports about his work from the trainers there and low & behold up pops this post from k9.

Apparently he's even taken a few dogs from the track after hock injuries when the owners wanted them putting to sleep, sorted the injuries and rehomed them himself.

Did you ever use him Lynda?
