graham was given this canvas today and wondered if anyone knew anything about the subject???

the bloke that had it said he had had it many years and wanted a good home for it,just ashame it wasnt in its original frame :- "

I know nothing about it, but it's a beautiful piece of art to own...get a nice frame and you'll be sorted :thumbsup:
 
Trish thats really really nice...will you put it on the wall when youve had it framed...

I would take it to a good framers and ask some advice.

It is a very nice picture, however it looks as though it has been cut out of its original frame as there is not any 'stretching margin'.

One would suggest that it is taken to a professional framer to be stretched properly, otherwise the dogs feet could disappear into the frame. It is certainly worth the trouble of being framed properly, and would look very nice when finished.
