Poor you Jan and ... naughty George scoffing all that ham without remorse.

Zoomie's been wondering why I've been squeezing and kissing him so much today (if it's possible) - it would be my biggest nightmare.

 to all that helped find him

What a nightmare it must have been! Very glad that George is well!!!

Just managed to log onto k9 for the first time in 2 days as I've been out every waking hour looking for that little Bu**er

It's my worst nightmare that one of my dogs could go missing. I agonised over contacting Jan in Belgium as I knew she would have to come home asap, but I decided that if it was one of mine, I would want to know straight away. I didn't dare tell her, though, that the last sighting of him was running across a busy main road straight in front of a car :(

I have driven and walked round areas of Bicester I never knew existed, even walked around the graveyard alone at 11pm and 6am... scary!

I even went out last night, before Jan arrived home, with Hattie and Shelley, and walked around areas near where he was last spotted, and asked everywhere I thought he may possibly have been if anyone had seen him. It's amazing how such a distinctive dog can just disappear like that- absolutely nobody had seen him. I had begun to think he'd been picked up by somebody who had decided to keep him.

I have just been round to Jan's to give the little git a cuddle and apart from skinned pads, there's not a mark on him. Makes you wonder what adventures he got up to on his 'trip'- or maybe it's better not to know!

Glad I can actually go to bed and get a proper night's sleep tonight...

Poor you Liz.......George has been so lucky, espcially considering what a busy road it is by the airfield and through Bicester (is the airfield still there?...keep forgetting it's 6 years since I moved !)_

You can catch up on some well earned beauty sleep now! ;)

Poor Liz, how awful the last two days must have been for you and Jan. :(

So very pleased that George is back safe and unharmed - he is one VERY lucky dog! :- " :*

Phew thank goodness, I am so happy for you and George :huggles: :huggles: don't do that again George :sweating:

Poor Liz- what a scary few days :(
