Gelert's First Skin Tear

Gelert appreciates all the sympathy. We suspect he may have been overplaying the agony, as he seems to have forgotten about it today. Yesterday he could barely stand! Anyway he still has six days of antibiotics, and he refuses to take them unless they have a lump of raw meat wrapped round them, so he isn't doing too badly out of it.

The massive injury is that black spec on his left elbow. Also, despite the photograph, he didn't sneak off down the Cowley road to get his lip pierced yesterday (w00t) :- "

Gelert sounds like he's milking this for all it's worth :- " You know our Moss does this when you tell him off for anything :b He remembers when he had a sore leg & got lots of attention so when you tell him off now he just looks at you with the "sad Whippet eyes" & limps off very slowly :- " he has it down to a fine art now (w00t)
