I would just leave him to it if he is happy playing that way!!!
But I need him to run, Caroline. He's galloping off to get it in the first instance, but then just skipping away from me at all other times.

With Zephyr I was advised to have two identical toys, (I used frisbees), throw one a little way, and the very second he picked it up, say excitedly 'Hey, look what I've got!) and wave the other one. He would come runnng with the toy still in his mouth and I wouldn't throw the second till he had let me take the first. He gradually realised that giving me the toy made me throw another, and gradually I threw the frisbee further. :sweating: When I was absolutely sure he would come back and give it to me, I stopped carrying a second toy. :teehee: He gets loads of wonderful exercise with the frisbee and is totally hooked on it - even ignores rabbits and pheasants if the frisbee is around!

Good luck Lana :luck: :luck: :luck:
