Frustrated about toilet training 9 month old dog

Hello, as my name suggests I am a newbie when it comes to owning a dog. We have the most gorgeous 9 month old yorkie, and the only problem we have is that every evening (late) she wees on the carpet !!! We have never caught her doing it and it isnt much really, but am very frustrated as to why she is doing it. We are in the lounge and she does it in the dining room (shes very quick). She doesnt do it when left alone in the day, or through the night. It is only ever this one time, but every night. Please help.

Hello, sorry about the delay in replying. She didnt do it when we first got her. It is a recent thing,its a mystery ? Is there an answer, cant fault her in any other way.

Sometimes, a previously clean bitch will do this when she's coming into season.
