No reply here either.

Lots more young whippets needing homes ( mainly Wales & bedfordshire) in the yellow free ads :( :

I like the bedli lurcher 'very kean with children' - I can just see it straining and wooing in the slips, and the children sprinting off at speed towards the horizon :- "

"Offers"!? I would like to offer some advice and tell these people that maybe they should have thought twice before taking on a dog...when the going gets tough, the tough shouldn't boot out a family member!

am I being too insensitive?...I mean unless it's death or a severe illness (that is going to compromise the animal's welfare) what genuine reason is there?????

What shocked me about ADTRADER is the type of dogs being advertised such as Pug!!!! Pomeranian, Bichons not just the usual westies, mastiffs etc

Knowing life in south wales as I do it probably just barked a couple of and the neighbours called the police for noise nuisance :( One of the many reasons I wouldn't go back (and having my tyres knifed because I parked slightly within the neighbours space  )

You may be shocked, but I tell you it's not like the good old days when we had ads in the local paper every week such as 'two six-year-old brood bitches in whelp' - trying to get more for tired old dogs by dangling the chance of extra cash for the pups. :(

saw another advert for a ten weeks old fawn with blue mask kc reg in cheshire.

Just checked my e-mail nothing yet. :( Dawn have you had a reply?

Ive left her whippet rescue phone number , in the hope she uses it

Nothing here either and in true stalker fashion I tried to get her number from BT.com but she must be ex-directory.

What is happening to the blue boy? Mandy if i hear anything I'll let you know asap.

I have just emailed again... and THIS time I had notification (with a copy of the mail I sent - which did not happen last time).

Also... at the bottom of the page it now says:

"Your reply has been sent to julie weedon. If this person replies to your message within 30 days, we will notify you by e-mail and give you the URL where you can view the reply."

Has that happened to all of you, or not?

I wonder if the mails actually got through to her on the first day??
