Pleased to report I picked up Archie at 3pm yesterday - he was only under for a very short while so came round very quickly.

All stitched up very cleanly and nearing 2" long :cheers:

Lord Archibald of course refused to walk out to the front of the vets to see me and made the pretty young lady carry him :lol: He had a lovely stew of chicken, potatoes and veg and then still managed to chase a cat up the garden late last night - albeit in a very wobbly fashion :wacko:

Thanks for all your well wishes, I am sure he has learnt his lesson and will stick firmly by my side when off the lead in the fields..... yeah right o

:sweating: phew! no doubt the injured soldier will be playing on it, when it suits naturally, for a while :lol: every dog i've ever known is the same, small injury= DRAMA! big injury = that didnt hurt
