Dog walking footwear

I did splash out on a pair of Meindl boots but to my shame I think I have only worn them 2 or 3 times...
I found them a bit heavy and stiff, maybe I should of persevered and worn them in but some days I walk for up to 5 or 6 hours and they just seemed to get heavier and heavier!

I have been wearing mountain warehouse waterproof boots for last year,,kept my feet dry,need a clean now using nikwax..so will be using them again this year.in the summer I use berghaus gortex shoes and again mountain warehouse walking shoes.
